I'll shoot you just because you cheated on me.....

It's honestly alarming to think that in America guns are used so casually. I am so happy they can't be used as easily here in the UK.

I have just finished reading an article about a lady named Stephanie Moseley who Is a dancer and actress and also appeared in the latest twilight saga. Before writing this blog post I actually hadn't heard of her and it's sad to know its through her death I'm getting to find out who she is.

Well the circumstances which led to her death is a cheating scandal involving RnB singer Trey Songz whom her husband rapper Earl Hayes accused her of cheating on him with. This same allegation led to their separation 2 years ago but they eventually got back together. However it seems like he has never gotten over it and breaking news tells us that he killed her and then killed himself. Over 10 gun shots were heard and his close friend Floyd Mayweather was on Facetime and witnessed the whole thing OMG!!!!!!!!!

This is actually the most traumatising thing I have ever read. It's sad to think that his first point of call was to reach out for a gun and kill her then kill himself. What a selfish thing to do?

Love is a scary thing and it seems so possessive and overwhelming. Would you really shoot your spouse and then shoot yourself if you ever found out they cheated on you?

The world gets scarier and scarier each day...

R.I.P to both of them xxxx

#Mules are fools!

Ever heard of the term DRUG MULE?

A drug mule is somebody who smuggles drugs across the border.

Sorry to hit you with a bang, however I read an article on the daily mail this evening about Billy Reid who is the father to one of the drug mules who were convicted of carrying £1.5m worth of cocaine hidden in their luggages last year, which they attempted to smuggle out of Peru. I'm very intrigued by people like this who think they can get away with smuggling drugs in the hope that they will become millionaires at the end of it sounds so absurd.

However some people actually get away with it and some even go to the extreme and implant these drugs in their stomachs or swallow it and later excrete it out and try and locate it within their faeces.
Some have it strapped  to their bodies, in their stomach, in luggage, in shoe soles, in shampoo bottles, and any other way they can think of to conceal contraband while trying to beat the system. Some mules hide the drugs in condoms that have been surgically implanted under the skin!  In many airports x-ray machines have become a common sight with people's stomachs being x-rayed as they go through. Pregnant women cannot be subjected to an x-ray so they make great mules. There have been reports of people smuggling drugs inside the gutted bodies of dead human babies, dead puppies, even live snakes!
Yuck right?

My question for the people who eventually get caught:

Weren't you scared of the consequences?
Didn't you think of your families back home how it would affect them if you got caught?
Having a criminal record and being bankrupt by the time you finish your sentence?
Being labelled as a drug trafficker?
Your Name being printed in newspapers and being exposed?

Now back to Melissa Reid and her friend Michaella McCollum these are young girls who went on holiday and admitted an attempt of trafficking 11kg of the class A drug after being caught at Lima's international airport last year.
Their court confession came after six weeks of protesting their innocence after telling the Daily Mirror they had been threatened with their lives if they did not carry out the run for a South American cartel.

Question: Would you rather die at the hands of the cartel or risk your life and end being bars and basically be a living dead?

Hmmmmmm?....
These girls we are talking about, both of them are around my age which is roughly around 21/22. How sad is it to think that they will be spending 6 years and 8 months of their lives behind bars in despicable conditions.

Billy Reid, the father of Melissa said in the article on daily mail that Melissa has already missed key events such as her brother's wedding and other events similar to this. Melissa's dad said: "Events such as Christmas are non-existent for us. There'll be no celebrations in our house, there'll be no Christmas tree until we get her back home.''

This kind of situation not only affects the smuggler but also affects the family as they feel like they are facing the jail sentence too.

This could be avoided but for the stupidity and anxiety and anticipation of a false hope that the world of drugs promised.

Some of you reading it will be saying what I think too "well they should have thought of the consequences before ever attempting to smuggle drugs''.

You'll never know until you are faced with this kind of situation I'm praying you don't ever get faced with it. But if any of you are ever thinking of doing this just know it's not worth it and you certainly wouldn't want to be living a life behind bars..

Think of the consequences before getting involved with drugs of any kind. Even if it promises you a life of millions at the end of it. Think about your sanity and your freedom those are two things millions cannot buy!

Indecent or Hot?

Hey everyone :)

I bet you didn't expect to hear from me so soon!

Over the past few days I'm sure you've all heard of Kim Kardashian 'Breaking the internet' with her full nude photoshoot which has been widespread all over the net. For me when I first saw this I was simply shocked and disgusted. Shocked at the fact that she didn't care that she has a 1 year old daughter who obviously would want to emulate her mother. Disgusted at the fact that she obviously has no respect for her body.

The weird thing is because she is considered a celebrity and is in the limelight one way or another this act of hers will be seen as acceptable and embraced as her expressing herself and making money. After all as a result of this hideous shoot she got 43 million dollars. Could we just repeat this again 43 million dollars?

The world is complaining of poverty and recession when this 43 million could be put to good use or better still given to me lol.. I certainly know what I would do with 43 million dollars. I'd start by building more orphanages and homeless shelters around the world.

Isn't what Kim did the same as being a stipper at a strip club and having money thrown at you by pimps? The only difference here is that Kim was contracted to do this and probably signed that at the end of it she will get millions in return. It just shows what the love of money and wanting more fame can do.

It's actually sad that women these days don't conduct themselves gracefully and let themselves go in terms of how they present themselves to the public by what they wear. Your image is you and how you carry yourself is extremely important. Even in the book of Proverbs it says 'A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.'

Did Kanye West honestly approve of his wives private parts being viewed by the whole world?

It actually makes you think if he actually has respect for her or loves her. Wouldn't you as a man shield your wife and talk sense into her if she wanted to do something like this?

Even for the sake of North their daughter shouldn't that be enough for her to say no to this shoot?

Here

If I was related to Kim I'd actually be very embarrassed right now.

This was a spoof on twitter 'Beyonce explaining to Blue Ivy what Kim K does for a living... LOL

Kanye West's head on her body!LOL..
Spoof ...
This was the actual photoshoot...
There was something else I saw on Facebook a couple of days ago. Women do you think it is ok to go out like this?

It amazes me time and time again when things like this happen. It's just so degrading!

Women hold yourself with a high price, if you want to attract good then respect yourselves and conduct yourself in the way you would like to be treated and accepted. If you go around dressing indecent what do you think will go through the minds of people?

I think it is time we take a look at our actions and think of the consequence.

Carrot Juice amongst other interesting things!

Hello everybody how are you?

I'm currently sipping on a fresh glass of carrot juice whilst writing this. I wish you all could try some as the taste is undeniably delicious and the benefits are amazing too.

It is one of those miracle concoctions that are great for numerous purposes:

  • Helps to improve vision, nails, hair, skin
  • Helps to treat and prevent diseases
  • contains a large amount of beta-carotene, vitamins and potassium in it.
  • Beta-carotene makes it a rich source of Vitamin A which improves the skins appearance.
  • The potassium present in carrot juice can reduce cholesterol levels.
  •  Great for the liver as it reduces fat and bile in it.
  • Vitamin A in found in carrots keeps the lining of the internal organs healthy in order to prevent it from being infected by pathogenic organisms.
  • Vitamin K present in carrot juice helps blood to clot
  • Heals External Wounds And Gums with the aid of the vitamin C present within the Carrot.
  • Acts like an anti-cancer agent. Increased intake of carotenoids in carrot juice has been said to decrease instances of bladder, prostate, colon and breast cancer.
  • Carrot juice cleanses and detoxifies the liver. Toxins in the liver are released from the system and excreted after regular consumption of carrot juice.

Beauty benefits of carrot juice
  • Reduces Dryness And Scarring
  • Prevents Acne
  • Source Of Vitamins Needed For Skin
  • Controls Sun Damage
  • Fights Ageing
  • Hair Care
  • Nail Care
You would need a good juicer to be able to effectively extract enough juice from the carrots.
I have purchased the BRAUN juicer from Argos which was about £70-80.

I recently have started going to a new church here in Milton Keynes. The name of the church is called RCCG Kings court chapel Milton Keynes.

Sunday 16th November was my second sunday and I must say I enjoyed every single minute of the service, This Sunday service our pastor Sola Ewedemi preached on the benefits of Open Heaven. Now for some of you who may be reading this post and may be thinking what does the term 'open heaven' signify?

Well the answer to that is an open heaven is basically a window that God uses to pour down his blessings upon his children. Now, some of these blessings can range from and are not limited to God's protection, his favour, his grace, good health, the presence of God, no fear and many more. Some of you may be thinking are these benefits only restricted to Christians?

Yes these are restricted to children of God who have accepted Jesus Christ into their lives as their personal saviour. It's not too late for you who may be reading this post, you may say to yourself I am absolutely dirty and full of sin and God won't accept me. But if you call on the name of Jesus via this prayer below he will create a brand new slate for you and your previous sins will be made as white as snow. You can then start enjoying the benefits of an open Heaven :) xxx

“Lord Jesus Christ,
I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask your forgiveness and now turn from everything which I know is wrong. Thank you for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever.
Thank you, Lord Jesus.
Amen.”

Congratulations if you said the prayer above. You are now a child of God. :) xx

After church I was so hungry I quickly made something to eat which turned out to be a lovely brunch which consisted of tomatoes, Avocados and healthy brown bread with a tuna mix.

Interesting things seen over the past couple of days:

Until next time peace and love to you all

Birthday weekend! 8th November :)

Hello everybody :)

What's been happening with you guys?

It was my birthday this weekend and I turned the big 23! eeek!!! It was a really amazing weekend as I got to see my family whom I've missed and haven't seen since I have been over here in Milton Keynes. It was even more exhilarating as my birthday fell on a Saturday which rarely happens.

My Birthday weekend build up started from Thursday morning. I got up early and made my way to Milton Keynes central station not knowing what the journey would be like from MK to Elm Park station. Overall it was an easy journey and only took about an hour and a half to get there. For those who don't know where Elm Park is its in Essex Hornchurch area.

One thing however, I don't think I'm used to London anymore :(

During the journey I was confronted with so many weird stares and glances as I had quite a bit of luggage on me. Is that really an excuse to be judged?

I'm really taking to the small town of Buckingham and quite like the idea of a small village as you are more likely to get used to things much quicker which is what I'm finding. Although you can argue that there isn't much to do around here or enough shops I think there is enough of what you need.

So back to turning 23.. .. ..
  • I don't actually feel any different
  • People are starting to say 'You look quite good for your age' which is scaring me...
  • 'OMG You are 23?'
  • 'Wow didn't think you will say 23'
Firstly it was a struggle to find a restaurant to go to as there are so many however we settled for Las Iguanas restaurant which is a restaurant focused on South American food. Left to me alone I would have settled for Chinese but I think I desired something different. We proceeded to the 02 which is situated in North Greenwich however we were late for our reservation which was booked for 9:00pm and ended up arriving at 9:30pm. Luckily enough our table was still reserved...

check out the restaurant here...

It got to the part of ordering food however there was a vast amount to order from which left me sort of confused...

I decided to stick to what I could be familiar with in terms of taste and ordered half a chicken with some chips extra spicy! I was also pleasantly surprised to see that I could order some friend plantain so I  ordered a side of that with my huge meal....

It was a really lovely intimate family dinner and I had a great time. Throughout the day I had floods of messages and heartwarming texts that made me feel really really loved!

Sunday......

On the sunday it was like a mini continuation of Saturday. After church I was treated to a meal at Instanbul Grill which is a Turkish restaurant.  Check them out here...

All in all it was a really great birthday and I'm looking forward to what chapter 23 holds for me...

Alot has been going on let me update you ........

(I'm currently listening to the song above whilst typing this... Listen and enjoy my post :) x )

Hey everyone,

let me update you a bit on what has been going on over the past couple of days....

Firstly it's my birthday tomorrow (November 8th) I turn the big 23! :D I'm really excited to be spending it here with my family. This year I've decided to go low key and celebrate it intimately as I haven't seen my family since September as I've been away at Uni.

I couldn't really be bothered to get an outfit but my older sis convinced me to get something and I've gone quite over my budget oh well YOLO I guess right??.... LOL.

For those who don't know the meaning of YOLO it means You Only Live Once!

Pictures of me in the outfit will be seen later but for now here are some of the things I got from Miss selfridges....

Miss selfridge skirt reduced from £39.00-£15.00
Shoes are so hot! Size 8 shoes never looked so good!
Some perfume samples from Debenhams and Mascara from Boots and I got a 3 for 2 offer on the lip gloss in the Body shop. They are normally £2.00 each and I love them for my lip
Early Perfume gift from my sister :) <3

A little bit of  spontaneity never hurt anybody!

As you guys have read earlier on in my earlier posts I am undertaking a degree in Media, Communications and Journalism at the University of Buckingham and I'm thoroughly enjoying every bit of it. My lecturer set us the task of going out and conducting some vox pops asking any question of our choice. I decided to ask the public their views on Halloween. I got some mixed responses and others weren't interested in hearing what I had to ask which is expected as not everyone has the time to stop and chat. The morning after the Vox pops were conducted I just had the sense of urgency to write an article and send it into Buckingham Today. To my surprise by the afternoon I received an email from the News reporter Tom Burton saying he had published it on their website. I was so shocked and proud of what I had achieved. Please feel free to read the article here.....

Moral of the story: Don't be scared to try anything if you don't attempt you will never learn your potential. :)

My favourite charity- Centrepoint

Centre point is the UK's leading charity for homeless young people. Research by centre point found that one in five under 25s in the UK have experienced homelessness. 80,000 young people experience homelessness every year.

I've been intrigued by this charity both by finding out about it online and via facebook. Yesterday I got to know that centre point supporters were conducting a sleep out by sleeping on the concrete floor in the cold and rain to find out what it's like to be homeless and to raise money for this charity. As a result of this amazing sleep out an astonishing £300,000 pounds was raised for the homeless young people. I think it's amazing and the fact that well known celebrities got involved in this such as Dermot O'Leary and many others. The public could also get involved and this is something next year I would love to see myself doing. Please read about them here.

Whatsapp blue tick what does this mean?

Yesterday when I sent a message to my aunty via whatsapp I noticed a slight difference in the way the message gets delivered. Previously when you send a message via whatsapp you don't really know if the recipient has read your message or not all you see are two ticks which leaves the question in your head 'Have they read it'? However Whatsapp has alleviated this issue by introducing the double blue tick mark to indicate that the message has been read and received. So for all of you guys who act like you haven't read your messages there's no hiding now :)!
It is actually amazing how technology keeps evolving every second. I can't wait to see what the future holds for subsequent technological advances. Please read further here on this new whatsapp development.

On that note I would like to leave you with a quote which I fell in love with last night....

In the words of  Khloe Kardashian ...

'I crave a love so deep that the ocean will be jealous' <3 xooxoxox

Pics from my birthday will follow .... Stay tuned :)

P.S if you know of any good restaurant in London that you recommend please send your suggestions through to me billionairebriggs@outlook.com

Boko Haram- ''Western Education is forbidden''

A big hello to everyone :) :)

I hope you all are doing great?

It's been a good few days since I last posted. Today's post may seem a little bit solemn however its a topic that we should all be made aware about as its real and its so sad.

Today's post will be about the Chibok school girls who got abducted 6 months ago precisely on the 14th of April 2014. I read an article last night on the BBC news page titled '

Escaping Boko Haram: How three Nigeria girls found safety'

Upon reading this article it brought all sorts of emotions to mind about how these innocent girls are coping many of whom are currently as we speak being subjected to inhumane acts and being made to do things against their will. I have a 14 year old sister and you that may be reading this too may have younger siblings I actually can't imagine my little sister or your little sister being forced and held captive and being subjected to crazy things :(

At the end of the article it was relieving to see that the 3 girls who had escaped had now found safety and are back at home. But what does this mean for the other girls who are still held captive and don't know their fate or if they will ever come out alive? :(

If you've never heard about the Chibok school girls here's a brief summary below. For those of you who are aware of the situation here's a reminder:

  • On the 14th April 2014 276 innocent schoolgirls were abducted by the Islamic Jihadist and terrorist organization based in North East Nigeria from the Government Secondary school from the town of Chibok in Borno state.
  • On the night of the 14th April a group of militants attacked the Government Girls secondary school in Chibok, Nigeria.
  • They pretended to be guards telling the girls to get out of the school and to follow them, they were lead away and loaded onto trucks through the forest. Some have managed to escaped and have been able to detail some of the ordeals they were put through.
  • Since the abduction most of these girls have been forced to convert to Islam and into marriage with members of Boko Haram paying a a menial ''bride price'' sum of  2,000 each ($12.50/£7.50) to the families of these girls
  • Many of the students were taken to neighbouring countries, Chad and Cameroon
  • Some of the villagers have seen some of the girls living in the Sambisa Forest. This forest has been reported to be a huge refuge for Boko Haram
  • On 5 May, a video in which Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau claimed responsibility for the kidnappings  was released. He claimed that "Allah instructed me to sell them...I will carry out his instructions." and "Slavery is allowed in my religion, and I shall capture people and make them slaves." He said the girls should not have been in school and instead should have been married since girls as young as nine are suitable for marriage.
  • It has been 6 months since the abduction. On the 17th October 2014 hopes were raised that the remaining 219 girls might soon be released after the Nigerian army announced a truce between Boko Haram and Government forces however this hasn't come into actualisation.
  • The extremist group is against the Westernisation of Nigeria to which they attribute the root cause of criminal behaviour in the country.
  • Boko Haram has been known to kidnap girls as they believe they should not be educated but rather used to cook or be Sex slaves.
Plenty has been written about Boko Haram and the threat it poses. However there is very little known about the abuse endured by these women and girls in captivity such as:
  • Forced labor
  • Forced participation in military operations
  • carrying ammunition or luring men into ambush
  • Forced marriage to their captors
  • Sexual abuse including rape
  • Being coerced to cook, clean and perform other household chores
  • Some have served as porters and are still serving as porters
  • Majority have been targeted for abduction because they were students, Christians or both.
According to the Human rights watch publication report
''From June through August 2014, Human Rights Watch interviewed 30 individuals who were abducted by Boko Haram between April 2013 and April 2014, and 16 others who witnessed the abductions. The victims, including 12 students of the Chibok School who escaped from Boko Haram custody after they were abducted, provided further details of the abuses they endured. The women and girls described how they were abducted from their homes and villages while working on the farms, fetching water, or attending school. The victims were held in eight different Boko Haram camps that they believed to be in the 518-square-kilometer Sambisa Forest Reserve and around the Gwoza hills for periods ranging from two days to three months''. Read the full report here
Since the kidnap back in April there have been various campaigns all over the world to show support even from the First Lady Michelle Obama and many other celebrities.
David Cameron

First Lady Michelle Obama
P Diddy
Big Sean- Rapper

The Pain for the families of the abducted girls is still ongoing many of the girls still don't know when they will be reunited back with their families. Many have tried to escape and as a result of escaping have been killed along the way. Most of these innocent girls are still innocent and have had their innocence exploited.

We must continually pray for these young girls and hold them close to our hearts and pray that some sort of amicable solution will be reached to free these girls and the many more who we don't even know about.

Lets all say a little prayer for the Chibok girls. At least most of us can say we will be going home to our parents this evening but for them they may be going 'home' to perform wife duties at the age of 14.

''A 15-year-old girl who was held in a Boko Haram camp for four weeks in 2013 described being forced to marry a militant more than twice her age. “After we were declared married I was ordered to live in his cave but I always managed to avoid him. He soon began to threaten me with a knife to have sex with him, and when I still refused he brought out his gun, warning that he would kill me if I shouted. Then he began to rape me every night. He was a huge man in his mid-30s and I had never had sex before. It was very painful and I cried bitterly because I was bleeding afterwards.”

Pray for the chibok girls <3 xxxxxxx
